Welcome to the PCHS Media Center!

 

 

 

The mission of the Port Charlotte High School Media Center is to encourage our students to develop a love of
reading, to appreciate the many kinds of literature available, and to ensure that students become effective users of ideas and information.

 

We are proud to house more than 13,000 print resources, both fiction and nonfiction.  Our fiction collection is color-coded and arranged according to the following nine genres:

  • Realistic Fiction

  • Science Fiction

  • Fantasy

  • Historical Fiction

  • Sports Fiction

  • Relationships

  • Horror Fiction

  • Mystery

  • Adventure

 

The media center is open from
7:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each school day.
